Copa Maresme Football Tournament
Enjoy international football, sunshine and the Costa Brava at the Copa Maresme, one of Euro-Sportring’s long-established Spanish youth football tournaments.
The 2027 event takes place in Blanes–Tordera, with tournament football on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th May. Around 90 teams are expected to take part, creating a lively international atmosphere while still keeping the tournament manageable for teams and families.
Organised by CF Tordera, the Copa Maresme has been running since 1988 and combines competitive football with everything that makes the Costa Brava such a popular football-tour destination.
A fantastic football holiday on the Costa Brava
The Copa Maresme is about much more than the football.
The Costa Brava combines beautiful beaches, lively seaside resorts, cafés and restaurants with easy access to Barcelona, making it a fantastic destination for players, coaches, parents and supporters.
Teams stay in popular coastal resorts such as Malgrat de Mar, Santa Susanna, Calella, Blanes and Lloret de Mar, giving everyone plenty of opportunity to enjoy Spain away from the football pitches.
With tournament football concentrated over the weekend, there is also time to relax and enjoy the destination before returning home on Monday.
The Football Tournament
The Copa Maresme takes place at a large sports complex just outside the seaside resort of Blanes, with matches also associated with the Tordera area.
Euro-Sportring describes the main venue as having nine grass pitches, together with changing facilities, parking, first aid facilities, a café-bar and spectator terraces. A multilingual Euro-Sportring information desk is available during the tournament for team leaders.
The tournament begins on Saturday morning, followed by an official opening ceremony at Soccerland Catalunya. Sunday features the placing matches and ceremonial prize-giving.
